Havells Sylvania CFL "Mini-Lynx Fast Start" voted winner by consumers’ test magazines in Europe
Raunheim, Germany – “Mini-Lynx Fast Start” Compact Fluorescent Lamp (CFL) by Sylvania has been named test winner in May‘s influential consumer magazines “Que Choisir” in France and Råd & Rön in Sweden.
Both insights report on ten different branded CFL low energy light bulbs and provide tests’ results undertaken over a period of several months and under specific temperature conditions. These tests were made in cooperation with local international organizations. The main objective was to identify the best CFL performer among various criteria, the fastest light up and luminous flux, the longest qualitative lifetime, the best outdoor performance, the best return on investment and best torsion strengths.
The 20W Sylvania’s Mini-Lynx Fast-Start rated the best performer against all these criteria. Sylvania’s CFL can be used as a direct replacement for existing incandescent bulbs in a wide variety of light fittings. The range is available with an E14, E27 or B22 lamp cap, making it possible to change an existing incandescent light bulb for an energy-saving version - for example, a 75-watt incandescent bulb can be replaced by a 15-watt energy saver.
